Craig Carmean to joke around tomorrow night

Program Council will present Comic View with Craig Carmean in the LSC Theater at 8 p.m. on Nov. 15.Carmean’s show is four acts in one. Entertainment critics know him as the best singer, comedian and impressionist-actor in the business today and he will be in town Friday to display that talent for the SHSU campus.Courtney Herron, Program Council member, said the PC Comic View shows have been a success. “We began the Comic View once a month this semester and it was very successful. That is why we are going to continue to have PC Comic View. It will continue to be on the third Friday of every month,” said Herron. Herron said since finals are approaching, she thinks students should come, give their brains a rest for a couple of hours, laugh and have fun. “I think students should come to Comic View because finals are coming up and the Comic View will be an opportunity to relieve stress from finals,” said Herron. The National Association nominated Craig Carmean as comedian of the year in 2001 and he won comedian of the year in 2000 from readers of “Campus Activities” magazine. This marks the fourth show this semester and will be the last this year. Comic View, like all PC activities, is free.
