Have you ever taken a look at the SHSU bulletin board? It is a really great forum for students to discuss current events, SHSU happenings, post things for sale, etc.
There seems to be quite a large group of students that regularly post to the BB, but I think that it would improve the forum considerably if The Houstonian would include a small spot in the paper reminding the students about the BB. It could be titled, “BB Hot Topic” and show what topic is currently getting a lot of discussion. This would allow the current users to get a greater perspective of what their peers are thinking.
You may even want to run a survey on the BB just to see what the rest of the users think about the idea.
