This is in response to Larry Behrens letter last week about taking a stand on high book prices. A little-known tool we have here at Sam is at http://www.shsu.edu/boardOn there, students can post listings to buy and sell textbooks, look for roommates or apartments, and sell other merchandise. If we buy and sell textbooks directly from one student to another, we will cut out the middleman completely. It’s even cheaper than going to half.com or any other online website to purchase books. Word just needs to get out so more people will use the site, and the selection will be better.
