The name of the SHSU goat is spelled Kooter not Cooter. The goat was named after Kooter Roberson of KSAM.We put all the names on the Bulletin Board, which everyone has access to, and only 23 of over 3000 registered users voted on the Bulletin Board. We also had a table in the mall area. Only 150 or so people voted at the table. Even though we asked people to vote, students still walked by. The name Kooter won by at least 35 votes and received more than twice as many votes as any other name. We are very thankful for everybody who did participate, but please don’t knock the name.
