In 1982, the Eta Mu chapter of Omega Psi Phi was chartered on the campus of Sam Houston State University and since founded they have continued to excel in brotherhood and scholarship.

November 17 was the start of “Que Week,” and the brothers of Omega Psi Phi had daily activities open to anyone in the SHSU community.

On Monday the Omegas held their annual Greek Charity Basketball Tournament at Family Faith Church. The brothers of Sigma Nu Fraternity beat Phi Beat Sigma Fraternity and the brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity beat Omega Delta Phi Fraternity.

The Omegas are challenging everyone to participate in the “Campus Wide Community Service Project” at 3:45 p.m. at the Fair Park Nursing Home to assist in the game of Bingo.

Tonight the Omegas are throwing their 14th Annual Pajama Jam at the Walker County Fairgrounds with live mixing from DJ Shawney. Prices are $3 with pajamas, $5 without pajamas and a Greek discount all night long.
