Can you beat Ken Jennings?
That is the question the President’s Office will ask as they put teams of SHSU students and faculty against the record-breaking Jeopardy! champion on Nov. 15.
Jennings will be on campus as part of the President’s Speaker Series at 11 a.m. that day, speaking in the Criminal Justice Center’s Killinger
Auditorium, and will participate in a quiz show challenge at 2 p.m. in the Lowman Student Center Theater.
The office will host a team tryout on Tuesday (Nov. 8), at 3 p.m. in the LSC Theater to select two teams that will compete against Jennings on Nov. 15. Teams need to sign up at a meeting on Monday (Nov. 7) at the same time and place.
Teams should be comprised of two students and one faculty or staff member, and the two teams selected to take on Jennings will be chosen after competing against one another during mock game shows at the tryout.
Tryout results will be announced on Wednesday (Nov. 8).
