The Sam Houston State athletic department got a surprise early Thursday morning when they stepped onto the new SHSU baseball, softball complex.

Vandals gained access to the new facilities and spray-painted “SFA” in purple, red and white in the turf behind home plate at the baseball field and along the first-base line at the softball field.

There were also 30 femine products painted red littered across the softball complex.
