For the music enthusiasts or anyone looking for a pleasant evening, the SHSU Wind Ensemble will perform its first concert of the season tonight at the Mance Park Middle School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Admission to the concert is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, non-SHSU students and children over 12. SHSU students with a school I.D. and children under 12 can enjoy the concert for free.

The Wind Ensemble is the premier performing group for wind and percussion musicians at the university and regularly performs with faculty and guest artists. Membership in the band is open to students of all majors through highly competitive auditions, which are held two days before school starts in both the fall and spring semesters.
