Sexy’ is back

He’s bringing sexy back. Justin Timberlake has burst back into the music scene with his proclamation from the first hit single off of his sophomore album, “Future Sex/Love Sounds.”After listening to the follow up album to his multi-million selling solo debut, “Justified,” not many can argue his claim.

Timberlake fans worldwide have been anticipating the release of his second album for four years. The wait is over.Produced by music phenomenon’s such as Timbaland, Rick Rubin and Will.I.Am, the album is a bold effort in comparison with his earlier R&B and pop sounds.Even though his voice is mechanically manipulated in many of the album’s tracks, I think with the arrangement of “Sexy Back,” there is no denying the singer’s vocal talents.

Timberlake has shed his pretty, boy-band image, showing the world another side of the former mouseketeer.Future Sex/Love Sounds contains songs such as, “My Love,” “Sexy Ladies/Let Me Talk to You,” an anti-crack ballad called “Losing My Way” and “Chop Me Up” featuring Three Six Mafia. His label tells fans and critics to think early Prince mixed with Michael Jackson, think breaking boundaries in his sound. One thing is for sure, with his multi-million selling albums, involvement in major films and his new fashion label William Rast, Timberlake is a superstar. After experiencing his new album, released in stores today, one could suggest that Timberlake is just here to stay; he’s here to conquer.
