Grab your dance shoes and get ready to be amazed.

Season 4 of Dancing with the Stars debuted last night and is second only to American idol in ratings.

There are eleven stars competing this season, and each partnered with an award-winning, professional dancer. The star-studded side of the dances duos includes an array of household names such as former NBA Rocket, Clyde Drexler and country musician, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Other noted stars on the show include former NSYNC group member, Joey Fatone, daughter of Muhammed Ali, Laila, Paul McCartney’s former wife, Heather Mills and Beverly Hills 90210 star, Ian Ziering.

Ziering has the advantage of being partnered with professional dancer Cheryl Burke. Burke is the only two-time professional dancer champion of Dancing with the Stars. She won during Season 2 with her partner, Drew Lachey. She also won the competition last season with her partner, football legend Emmitt Smith.

Clyde “The Glyde” Drexler, who is paired up with professional Elena Grinenko, spoke candidly to the Houston Chronicle about his rehearsing, his favorite dances, and his fears.

“My favorite dance; Are you kidding?” Drexler said. “It’s the one where I don’t fall.”

Drexler, who says he likes to keep a degree of humility and humor in everything he does, plans on rehearsing at various dance studios in Houston and commuting to Los Angeles for the live shows. His says that his four children and family members are very supportive.

“We’re not expected to be ballet pros, because that’s a learned behavior over many, many years,” said Drexler. “But for people who have day jobs, it’ll be a lot of fun. The key is having fun – and not falling down!”.

Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris are Season 4’s hosts of the choreographed dance show. Three renowned ballroom dancers and choreographers will be the judges. Some of the dance styles included on the show is the foxtrot, rumba, waltz, cha-cha and jive.

The two-hour premiere kicked off last night on ABC; however, if you missed it, you still have a chance to see the dancers’ new moves. The second show, another two-hour performance show, will air next Monday, March 26 and the first results show will air Tuesday, March 27.
