Led by Jennifer Heinz, the Sam Houston State’s women’s golf team placed fifth at the Oral Roberts Shootout at Meadowbrook Country Club in Tulsa.
Heinz tied for sixth in the individual medalist standings, firing a 76-72-79–227 total for 54 holes.
Host team Oral Roberts University won the team title with a 926 total, followed by Louisiana-Monroe and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 934, Missouri St. 936, Sam Houston 937, Lamar 938, Texas-Pan American 947, UTEP 955, Arkansas
State and McLennan 961, Drake 962, Northeastern State 976, Centenary 980, North Dakota State 988, and Missouri-Kansas City 1027.
