The Public Relations Student Society of America is continuing its “USA Today” series with “Get Caught Reading by Sammy Bearkat.”
Every Tuesday and Thursday in the month of October, students found reading an issue of “USA Today” will be given a free t-shirt and photo opportunity with Sammy Bearkat.
Co-President of PRSSA Stefanie Taylor said Sammy can be found at random times throughout the day at random locations around campus, but especially in the LSC.
“Get Caught Reading by Sammy Bearkat” is one of several activities sponsored by PRSSA and “USA Today” this semester.
According to the Sam Houston State Chapter of PRSSA, the organization is a growing pre-professional organization of students who strive for excellence in leadership and professional preparation.
Chapter members are serious about gaining practical experience and enhancing their understanding of public relations, marketing, advertising and communications.
