PRSSA looks to ‘Twist it up’ with students

The Public Relations Student Society of America’s next “USA Today” activity – “Twist It Up” – will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. until the prizes are gone.

A twister game featuring “USA Today” headlines instead of colored dots will be set up in the Lowman Student Center Mall Area. The winner of each game will win a free T-shirt.

The “Read ‘Em Up Kats” campaign was designed to promote education through reading “USA Today.” So far, the PRSSA has have given away several prizes with funding from “USA Today.”

The Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. recently won $200 after winning the current events activity. The students worked throughout the entire month of October to complete the most current events quizzes.

The “Twist It Up” activity is one of the last events in the “USA Today” campaign.

The Sam Houston State Chapter of PRSSA is a growing pre-professional organization of students who strive for excellence in leadership and professional preparation. Chapter members are serious about gaining practical experience and enhancing their understanding of public relations, marketing, advertising and communications.
