Yarotsky named “Defensive Player of the Week”

Cynthia Yarotsky, senior outside hitter for the Sam Houston State Bearkats, has been named Southland Conference volleyball “Defensive Player of the Week.”Playing in the final home match of her four-year Sam Houston career Saturday, Yarotsky totaled 39 digs, the second highest single match dig total ever by a Bearkat volleyball player. Yarotsky also totaled 17 kills in the match, a five-game loss to Texas-Arlington.-SHSU Sports Information
