For Sam Houston students who missed the first round of master plan modifications in November, JJR, Inc. will be on campus again Tuesday, Jan. 22. The planners will be in the Lowman Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for student feedback. The new campus master plan will replace the expiring master plan, Y2K+10. The campus master plan is an overview, or series of recommendations made to improve the campus. The plan encompasses different aspects of the campus aesthetics and function, as well as maintains compliance with necessary campus stipulations, such as the American Disabilities Act. JR was on campus to take an initial survey of student opinion in November 2007. Students were asked to identify trouble areas to get a feel for the campus, using interactive displays and colored dots. For more information, contact debrak@shsu.edu.
