The Ultimate Road Trip

Are you a freshman and not quite sure what college is all about? Today Student Activities and Monster.com are hosting The Ultimate Road Trip: Campus the #2 Career. This presentation is meant to help incoming freshman think about a career so they can easily transition from college life to real life.

“We try to offer incoming freshmen many opportunities to learn how to be successful at college and this is one of those opportunities,” Keri Rogers, assistant vice president for academic affairs, said. “We highly encourage students to come and [learn] how to be successful and how to reach graduation and have a good career afterwards.”

A speaker provided by Monster.com will educate students on topics such as time management, career planning, the importance of good grades, the need for work experience and internships, and how to have meaningful extracurricular involvement.

The presentation will be held at 2:30 p.m. and again at 4 p.m. in room 320 of the Lowman Student Center. All students are encouraged to attend. For those whose professors are giving class credit, slips will be provided as proof that the student attended.
