The “Shouldn’t pick Palin” Edition

On Nov 4th, vote for John McCain, because if you’re stupid enough to buy into his campaign, then you deserve the apocalypse he and Karibu Barbie will bring.

Alright. I can’t back that up. Obviously, he probably won’t the catalyst to the end of days, but his policies definitely aren’t going to get us out of this slump.

But I actually don’t even know where to begin when talking about what’s wrong with John McCain, the presidential candidate.

John McCain, the American, is second to none. He’s a hero. He served his country in Vietnam, and literally has the scars to prove it.

John McCain, the presidential candidate, is horrendous. In July, McCain claimed Barack Obama would “rather lose a war in order to win a political campaign,” which was a comment met with criticism from both sides of the aisle. This is after he guaranteed a clean, positive campaign.

And in the last month, while his poll numbers have dropped dramatically, the Republicans have resorted to basing their entire campaign on going negative on Obama. Whether it’s William Ayers, the supposed terrorist, who oddly enough is a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, or about calling Barack a socialist, a claim actual socialists find inaccurate and absurd.

The ultimate deciding factor of McCain’s incompetence was the choice of Sarah Palin.

I’ve never thought I’d see the day where a political campaign could rely so much on nothing at all. Sarah Palin is a joke. She’s under qualified, and unintelligent. And it’s not okay. Our society seems to love/hate personalities. We love/hate pointless people like Paris Hilton.

But this time, instead of being a harmless socialite, this one could potentially be the president of the United States. I think we’re so caught up in being politically correct and we’re too scared to say when something is truly BS.

I’m disgusted that this person could be my leader. And it’s not because she’s a woman. It’s because she’s an idiot. Really. She blamed her poor performance in the Katie Couric interview on the fact that she was annoyed with the line of questioning.

In conclusion, everyone should just get used to the words “President Obama,” because he’s pretty much already won. McCain lost the moment he made the politically driven decision to put the pathetic Palin on the ticket.
