On Friday, Sept. 11, the SHSU Department of Theatre and Dance will present the 2009-2010 Fantasy Masquerade Scholarship Gala in the University Theatre Center beginning at 6 p.m., which provides scholarship for theatre, dance, and musical theatre students.
There will be a live and silent auction and cabaret with performances by the theatre, dance, and musical theatre majors in “The Fantasy Follies” with a cash bar available throughout the evening.
The live auction items will include a $20 wine tasting, one week in a condominium anywhere in the world, and designer jewelry, while the silent auction items include designer sunglasses and production photos, among others.
Parking is available behind the Newton Gresham Library with a golf cart service being provided for patrons.
Tickets are $50 for theatre patrons and $30 for parents of SHSU Department of Theatre and Dance students.For more information, call (936) 294-3968.
