This Friday, Sept. 18 at the LSC room 320 at 7 p.m., there will be a special Loteria held in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Loteria is a popular form of bingo in parts of Latin America and elsewhere and instead of letters or numbers the symbols used on the card are a chicken or cow for example.
Anyone who can attend this awesome, exciting Loteria. Prizes include a Nintendo Wii, shirts, DVD’s, a mini-laptop, and a Playstation 3.
This will be the first time something like this has ever been done at SHSU, and so far the only time this year, so try and experience while it’s here.
This event was organized by the multicultural committee and its chair, Charles Martinez.
