On Wednesday, Oct. 21, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Java City was held at the Newton Gresham Library. Java City is considered a great asset for any student who finds themselves craving coffee at the library, but finds the Starbucks on campus too far to walk. Java City sells hand-roasted coffees, iced and blended drinks, and fresh baked pastries. They are open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
