UFC Middleweight Division
Champion: Anderson Silva
Other than Bisping, this division is comprised of a whos who of fighters in the Anderson Silva whipped my ass club.
It is by far the stalest division in the UFC. That is why the match-ups being talked about involving Silva are catchweight fights with GSP and Jon Jones.
It does not surprise me that Silva is not exactly clamoring for those bouts. While he is arguably the top guy in MMA, he has not always sought out the toughest competition. So facing the two other best pound-for-pound fighters in the world is probably not at the top of his to do list.
Much like a Mayweather-Pacquiao match coming to fruition, the two dream Silva fights may very well be just that, a dream.
