Cowboys forces remain unsure for week two

Dez Bryant’s condition remains unsure approaching week two against Kansas City this Sunday.

ESPN Dallas reporter Todd Archer reported Cowboys’ head coach Jason Garret said Bryant has been practicing under limitations stemming from a mildly sprained left foot.

Bryant is on day-to-day monitoring from team trainers but is expected to practice today.

Garret commented on the receiver’s practice load saying “he just didn’t take every single rep like he normally does.”

“We want to make sure he’s healthy and ready to go this ballgame. No setbacks. Maybe just a little bit more of a limited practice than a typical Wednesday.”

Bryant recorded only 22 yards in Dallas’ 36-31 victory against the New York Giants during the season opener.

Defensive end Anthony Spencer was reported to have a strong practice session, Garret said. Spencer took backup snaps in his first week following a knee surgery in July. According to ESPN, Garrett said the team will evaluate the defensive end’s condition towards the end of the week before determining whether he’ll make his season debut against the Chiefs.
