Michael Jordan welcomes identical twin girls

Michael Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto, are now parents to two identical twin girls, Victoria and Ysabel. Prieto, 35, gave birth Tuesday night in West Palm Beach, Fla.

“Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival,” Estee Portnoy, Michael Jordan’s spokeswoman said.

Victoria and Ysabel are the fourth and fifth child for the 50-year-old Michael Jordan. He has three children from his previous marriage to Juanita Vanoy before they divorced in 2006. Jeffery Jordan, 25, played college basketball at Central Florida. Marcus Jordan, 23, also played at Central Florida. Jasmine Jordan, 21, is currently enrolled at Syracuse.

Victoria and Ysabel are the first children for Prieto.

Michael Jordan and Prieto met in 2008, began living together in 2009, and got engaged in 2011. They married in April 2013 in Palm Springs, Fla.
