Freshman Crystal Williams and now 2016 Miss Black & Gold.
The Theta Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. put on their annually Miss Black & Gold scholarship pageant February 8th, 2016. This year was full of excitement which turned out to be an outstanding entertaining event. From the food, the talent, and the speeches that the lovely contestants presented, made it a very classy event.
Out of the seven lovely contestants, freshman Crystal Williams (2016 Miss Black & Gold) came out on top with her stellar confidence out of the gates with her first speech. Determination, enthusiasm, originality, and the “swagger” gave Williams the edge from the rest of the pack. Kiara Ross was the first runner-up & Adia Bradford was the second runner-up in a competitive battle where all the ladies were deserving.
