Tyler Johnson, Panola Junior College rodeo team member, holds tight as he rides Dust of the Day. Johnson earned a total of 143 points for the weekend. 
Ty Iselt, SHSU cowboy, scored a 19.1 for his ride. 
Ashley Bane, SHSU cowgirl, competes with in Breakaway roping competition. Bane’s time of 6.3 was good enough for a first place finish. 
Cowboy, Lathan Lyons, comes out of the gate on High Flyer. 
SHSU cowboy, Kevin Boyles rides in the bareback bronc competition earning 65 points for the ride. 
Up next, several ladies from the different colleges rode in the barrel racing competition. Jimmie Smith from Texas A&M Commerce earned a total score of 34.40 for the weekend after this ride. 
Texas A&M University’s Whitley Whitewood turns around the final barrel, bringing her score to a total of 34.86 for the weekend.
