The Leadership Initiatives team hosted the Student Organization Fair on March 22, 2023 in the Lowman Student Center Yard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. During these two hours students had the opportunity to walk around the yard and see some of the organizations that SHSU has to offer.
Students from all different organizations set up tables all over the Lowman Student Center Yard to share what their organization is all about. Many students were able to sign up for organizations, meet new friends, and have the opportunity to find a way to get involved on campus.
Student organizations had the opportunity to sign up for the Student Organization Fair hosted by Leadership Initiatives to help promote different organizations on campus.The Leadership Initiatives Team set up a tent in the yard and played music asking different students “What is your favorite pump-up song?”.The National Organization of Hispanics in Criminal Justice (NOHCJ) were selling lemonade and hot cheetos to raise money and awareness of their organization.Freshman Leslie Sequera (left) and Alison Salazar (right) are a part of the SHSU Ballet Folklorico organization.The Society for Physics Students is open to any and all majors.
