Surprising news coming out of the Sam Houston State University football program recently as junior running back Remus Bulmer will be redshirting the rest of the 2018 season. He plans to transfer to a different school at season’s end, according to herosports.com.
While at SHSU, Bulmer played in 41 games with a total of 357 carries, 2,117 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. Those 2,117 yards put him at No. 13 all-time in school history.
Bulmer, responding to a fan on Twitter, explained his decision in the tweet that follows; it has since been deleted.

Taking over as the primary ball handler will most likely be sophomore running back Kyran Jackson, who already this season has 34 carries for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
Bulmer is no longer listed on the SHSU football roster.
