Sam Houston State University and H-E-B in Huntsville recently announced a new partnership that will bring grocery delivery to SHSU’s main campus and will be provided to all students, faculty, and staff. Groceries can be ordered through the myH-E-B app and will be picked out by the Curbside departments’ personal shoppers, and then you select a time and one of four delivery locations on campus to pick up your groceries. These locations include the parking lot by Bowers Stadium, Piney Woods Hall, Avenue J and 15th Street, and Avenue M and 17th Street. There are signs marked to clearly identify the different pickup zones.
“I love being able to simply place a grocery order on my phone and be able to have it delivered without someone having to drive me all the way to the store. It is so much more convenient,” says SHSU student Tanijah Griner.
H-E-B in Huntsville has been a longtime supporter of Sam Houston State University and of the Huntsville community. H-E-B is hoping that this added convenience will become widely used among most SHSU students living on campus and faculty and staff who may not have time to make it to the store. If you need additional help, you can call H-E-B at (936) 291-6994.
