(AP)-The Longhorns slipped past Southern California into first place Monday by virtue of a stellar showing in the BCS computer rankings.
USC was No. 1 in the BCS all of 2004. The last time USC was not No. 1 was the final standings of 2003 — the Trojans were No. 3 in BCS despite being ranked No. 1 in both polls.
