In the story “Parting Ways,” which appeared in last Thursday’s issue, the paragraph concerning current staff in the Foreign Language department should have read:
“We just hired a tenure track French professor and we are in the process of hiring a tenure track Spanish professor. We have hired in the recent past two new German professors.”
The Houstonian would like to apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
